Rome and the Birth of Jesus Christ
Rome is believed to have been established in 753 BC by Romulus and Remus, twin brothers who were raised by a she-wolf according to Roman mythology. This legendary founding date is still a subject of debate among historians, but it is generally accepted that Rome was founded sometime in the 8th century BC.
When Jesus Christ was born is traditionally considered to be around 4 BC to 6 BC, based on historical and biblical records. This would make Rome approximately 747 to 749 years old when Jesus Christ was born.
