When Jeffrey is bought he begs his master to buy Dorcas and he agrees to do so as long as the price is reasonable, the next day Dorcas is put to be sold but, unfortunately, her whole family has to go with her, therefore Jeffrey's master gives up on buying Dorcas, so they go their separate ways.
