Saving Lives in the Midst of Disaster

What would you do if you witnessed a plane crash near your home?

Would you run towards the disaster to help those in need, or would you stay back and watch from a safe distance?

Answer:

I'm standing in the old abandoned cornfield a few blocks down my house and see the remains of a plane with flames all over it and see bodies. Dead bodies. The police and firefighters are all over the place and the air is filled with sobs and screams but one scream is distant more high-pitched. I look around to see everybody in groups behind the yellow tape and the firefighters at the end of the plane where most of the flames are at. Without thinking I run to the plane and jump over scorched seats and bodies the smoke is thick and I'm coughing badly the faint cry getting closer I walk blindly not seeing anything and hear the cry again. I walk and walk then the cry is stronger I call out a hello and the voice cried help I can make out a figure with a a smaller one with something large on top. I push and shove until finally it rolls and I carry the large figure out as there holding the smaller. I hear voices and I let out a cry then feel a hand on me I don't remember what happpened next cause I felt dizzy.

The next week I woke up in bed my mom and dad beside me and he shows me a newspaper with the plane crash and I'm in the photo with a woman and a infant.
